We have had a tremendous time putting on Aeterno Elementum and would love to continue to do so for a long time to come. We have an amazing cast of musicians, actors, lighting and sound engineers, stage management, hair and makeup folk, costume and set designers and list goes on. We are extremely grateful for the skill and effort provided by these talented individuals.  We want you and everyone else to be enjoy the fruits of their labor. With any production this size there is almost always an issue of moving the production to a point of self-sustainability. Aeterno Elementum is yet to reached that point. That being said we need your help. Please help us make it possible for us to perform Aeterno Elementum Act III for you. Please make your contribution via kickstarter. An amount above $1 is greatly appreciated and will help us to continue to create this unique and intriguing entertainment form.

Act III – …the bards of tomorrow sing…

“And let the bards of tomorrow sing of our final stand…” -Conquered

On November 19th, 2010, operatic heavy metal takes the stage once again at the Historic Everett Theater as Ara’Kus prepares to deliver a performance unlike anything you’ve ever seen before. Hailed by critics as an ‘atmospheric and exhilarating’ production, this one of a kind theatrical performance is not to be missed.

Aeterno Elementum tells a sweeping story of betrayal and tragedy that will leave viewers in shock. This chilling tale is told not only through the music, but also through performers of all types. Actors bring to life the events of the tales, while martial artists and dancers of various sorts amaze the audience and create a sense of intense spectacle.

The musical compositions feature rich, classically influenced progressions that will appeal to even non-fans of heavy metal and showcase several operatic vocalists as well as a full chorus and string section. Apart from the heavy metal fare, several more traditional classical pieces will be featured, including acapella performances from the Creepy Effin’ Monks, and classical interludes from the musicians of Ara’Kus and other guest performers.

Boat Loads of Photos

People sure have taken a boat load of Act I photos.

Act I gets its 1st Review

http://www.enterprisenewspapers.com

“Elementum” is a vision — a vision in sound: loud, seismic, cataclysmic sound. The sound is the sound of shock and awe originating out of betrayal and tragedy on an epic scale. It erupts out of a hellish volcano of nightmarish emotions but without comment and the implication that ultimately all is as it should be.

More Act I Photos

Here are some photos of some rehearsals and of the actual performance. The photos were taken by two different photographers: Matthew McSheehy & Paul Goff. Matthew’s photo prints are available for purchase on his website. I’m not sure but Paul’s work may as well.

There will be more photos to come, I’m sure.

Photos by Matthew McSheehy

Matthew McSheehy came out to our last dress rehearsal and took some great photos. They are obviously better than mine.

Dress Rehearsal: 7-28-10

Last night we had a great dress rehearsal. I think I can speak for everyone involved when I say we are extremely excited to put on Aeterno Elementum: Act I. He are some photos I took with my new phone of the rehearsal. They are not the greatest quality photos but we were having fun and I thought I should share.

We also had a great time last night speaking with JoJo & Ace of KSER 90.7 on their show Raised on MetalKSER 90.7 Independent Public RadioJoJo played 3 AraKus songs: Falling, Shadows of Twilight and Conquered. We had the opportunity to tell some of the Aeterno Elementum story and get the word out about the strange and interesting brand of entertainment we are unleashing this Saturday. I hope to be able to post the interview here soon, with JoJo’s ok, of course.
