Ara’Kus on Broadway
by Tobias MacRobie
Thanks for making it magickal!
Winter has Fallen
It’s been an amazing month for us here at Ara’Kus, and we’d like to send out a huge thank you to everyone who came out to see our November performance in Seattle. We were absolutely overwhelmed by the positive response we had from the audience, and we can’t thank you enough for coming out and supporting Ara’kus. For those who didn’t make it, you’ll have a chance to make amends for your grievous wrongs, and we’ll forgo sending out the assassins…for now.
With the year now coming to a close, we here at Ara’Kus are preparing to make some big changes. First of all, a new production is in the works, and it’s shaping up to become the biggest endeavor yet from Ara’Kus. I can’t reveal any specific details, nor a firm date of when this new production will be coming to stage, but keep a careful eye on the website for future updates..
And while you’re keeping an eye on the website you may notice a few things, mainly that yours truly will be posting articles, news and other interesting tidbits as I get them. I’ll be covering the behind-the-scenes workings of Ara’Kus, interviewing cast members, investigating the mysterious origins of Ara’Kus, and of course, giving you the latest news on our new projects. So keep your wits about you, faithful readers, because the Ara’Kus Horde is on the march, and we’re not stopping until we’ve achieved world domination…
Well, perhaps after we rest a bit. My feet are killing me.
Stay tuned for future updates!

Aeterno Elementum comes to Seattle!
On November 4th and 5th, 2011 Ara’Kus Productions will bring heavy metal opera to the stage at the Broadway Performance Hall in downtown Seattle. Aeterno Elementum combines dark, atmospheric, story-driven performance theater with Ara’Kus’ signature style of symphonic, operatic heavy metal to create an experience that is greater than the sum of it’s parts.
Aeterno Elementum tells the story of a world not entirely unlike our own which has descended into darkness, and of it’s inevitable and violent purification. Featuring fire dancing, aerial performance, acrobatic martial artists, fully armed and armored knights in large scale combat, and a cast of highly talented actors and musicians of all types, this is a spectacle that must be witnessed in order to be fully understood.
On each night, doors open at 7:00pm, show begins at 8:00pm. Tickets will be $25 online and at the door, but seats are limited, so we recommend purchasing early.
Register here to receive vouchers for discounted tickets and regular updates about the show and everything Ara’Kus.
Thanks again from the Ara’Kus Productions crew. We’ll see you in Seattle.

“There is some seriously dark stuff here. This is theatre, baby. Theatre with blastbeats. I’m sold.”

Steff Metal Reviews Aeterno Elementum
Steff Metal has written a review of Aeterno Elementum. Enjoy!
[...] Aeterno Elementum tells the story of a world descended into darkness – the rise and fall of mankind and our violent purification. While that sounds like the plot of every other symphonic metal album out there, not every other symphonic metal album comes with an entire performance piece – where actors, martial artists, armored knights, aerialists, fire dancers and a myriad of musicians add a life and body to the music. Just look at the ArA’KuS cast! [...]
